CHWThe Community Health Worker training program is designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge to become frontline healthcare providers and educators in their communities.

The training aims to educate community members on health topics such as hygiene, nutrition, reproductive health, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyles. CHWs are trained in providing basic healthcare, such as first aid, administering medications, and engaging the community in health-related activities.

The health workers are also taught how to accurately collect and report trends in health data, practice self-care to prevent burnout, and ensure their safety while working in the community.

The six-month training program, which was conducted in Mu Aye Pu clinic, reaching a total of 51 trainees, including 38 females and 13 males, has significantly improved healthcare access and outcomes in underserved communities.

By equipping individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge, CHWs connect healthcare providers with the community the community, offer basic healthcare services, educate the community, and provide support, building trust and increasing health awareness. The programs also address health disparities by focusing on the specific needs of each community, enabling targeted interventions to prevent or detect health issues early on. Investing in CHW training promotes the well-being of underserved communities.
