Training Purposes |
The MCH Training program, which started in 2015, teaches MCH workers operating in areas with healthcare provided by Ethnic Health Organizations (EHO). IT has two parts: theory and clinical internship.
The program aims to
- educate healthcare professionals
- promote safe pregnancy and childbirth,
- increase awareness in the community,
- focus on immunizations and disease prevention,
- strengthen healthcare systems, and
- enhance maternal and child health knowledge in EHO areas.
Training Manuals
MCH Training consists of two curriculums:
Maternal Health curriculum and Child Health Curriculum.
- Maternal Health consists of 15 modules.
- Child Health consists of 13 modules.
- Duration of training is about 10 months.
